QRoute

QRoute is a small program that converts Quake's .dem file format into a series of pictures and a soundtrack, the purpose of which being to encode to a video file. The video would show a top-down view of everything that is happening in the map.

QRoute2 is currently in development; it features many more possibilities for video creation, such as showing icons for entities, and on-screen messages.

You can download QR2-2.22 here; this contains all libraries, some schematics, and some icons to get you started. For a full list of command line options, just run 'qr2 -h'. Then have fun!
