Lacaarciena was far from ordinary. In fact, she was someone of a mystery. Her association with the supernatural and occult happenings around her kingdom define her as strange. So when she was taken in by a vampire hunter to learn how to protect her kingdom, Lacaa agreed, though reluctantly.

Suddenly a horde of vampires hit her kingdom and Lacaarciena must take on the responsibility of vampire hunter and princess. Finding herself in the middle of a battle at a ball, Lacaarciena then realises how much she has to learn. And meanwhile, the vampires themselves are in her kingdom, disguised as lords and ladies.

But there are two particular lords she is worried about. Victor Tribenian and Darien Alforo. Two lords who have turned their back on Lacaarciena's kingdom and suddenly give aid to the Kingdom of Spain. And without knowing it, one of them has slipped into Lacaarciena's court and begun part of the plan.

Lacaarciena must figure out the cause of this, as a Princess, and as a vampire hunter. And on her path, many things will happen.
