Segment 1 - Klark to Mines AROUND 45 MINUTES LONG SEGMENT 1 ========================== -- On the Klark -- 0:00 ON DECK Run up the right hand side, turn left and go in the lower door. CAPTAIN'S ROOM Chat with Merrick. What a nice guy. Leave. ON DECK Go up a bit further and enter the cabin next to yours. SAILORS' ROOM Chat with the closest sailor to get derided some. Leave. ON DECK Head back to the captain's room, but go up the stairs this time first. SHIP'S WHEEL Go and talk to Merrick again, the senile old git. Leave. ON DECK Back to your room! ALUNDRA'S ROOM Cutscene. ...wait 4 minutes for some plot... Get movin' over to the crates. Hold up+left and grab a crate. You should be able to move already. Just get out of the room, it doesn't matter if you are still holding it. ON DECK Cutscene. ...wait about a minute for some plot... -- Inoa -- JESS Get chatted at. Ignore the diary for now, and just leave. INOA Yeah, hi Sybill. Put your skates on and get to Wendell's house. WENDELL Cutscene. Leave. INOA Peg it up the steps and right into Septimus's door. SEPTIMUS Hi Septimus. Cutscene! Leave. INOA Leave via the closest exit. -- Outside -- 0:10 LAKE Run like mad to the East. Anytime by the LAKE could be spent cutting grass for possible easy money. Not sure if it's worth it. MILL Keep running East. Head South down the steps. MANOR Hop up the crags and go for the manor. Get beaten up by some monkeys. Continue. -- Tarn's Manor -- LOBBY Walk, ignore Melzas. Kill some monkeys, 2 hits each. / OPTIONAL Go into the big door straight above you. | DINING ROOM You'll get locked in with a bunch of Murgg, get them killed. | Chest: Strength Elixir | This might be useful later on, as this is a quick one to get. \ Now go back to the previous room. Go up a bit and walk into the smaller door on the left. SEWER Follow the path, enough room to run a bit here. There's two slimes, you know what to do. Go through the gate that just opened. Run so you don't get rocked on, and drop down into the water straight away. Hit the left switch, run to the right switch, hit that too. Go use the bridge. Run run run! Chest: Herb Quick and easy. Get it. If you get it from the right hand side, the dropping spiky ball thing won't hit you. Keep running down the stairs, go grab a barrel, lug it onto the switch. Run out the gate you just opened, to the left. SEWER 2 You need to grab all four barrels and leave them on each switch. (Forgot to test if you could put three barrels on the switches furthest from the gate, then run across the fourth switch out through the gate before it closes. I suspect not.) It's quite easy to nick the barrels without killing the slimes; drop down, grab it, and jump onto the stairs before the slime hits you. Go through that gate. Chest: Herb Another quick one. Grab and run before the spiky ball hits you. Chest: Gilded Falcon Ignore it, the prizes aren't worth it. Up the stairs you go. SEWER 3 Don't hold down as you enter this room. :) Jump to the left to get off the staircase. Hop over the gap and smack that switch. Run down either side of the small tunnel to proceed. SEWER 4 Jump up to the rotating switch. / OPTIONAL Smack it once and go in the middle door. | Run up the middle and up the ladder. | SEWER 5 Chest: Herb | Not SO far out of the way... | Big spiky ball in the way? Pff, it's only 2 damage... \ Go back to SEWER 4 and stand by the switch. Smack it thrice and go for the right door. SEWER 6 Run along the water when there's a big stretch, and climb up the stairs on the left Walk other both pressure plates. It's not hard to dodge the spiky balls. Don't worry about it though, a health refill is but a room away. Do the same for the right hand side. Drop down to the middle. Jump up the block to the chest. Chest: Key Yeah, you gotta get this. Exit out the topleft. BEDROOM Yay! Chest: Life Vessel You have to get this too. Leave. LOBBY Go up to the top bit where you haven't been yet. / OPTIONAL Use the right set of steps. | LANDING Run down until you see the chest. | Chest: Herb | Not awfully far away. \ Go back to the LOBBY. Run up the left set of stairs. LANDING Run against the right statues so the Murgg don't hit you. Unlock the door and go inside. LIBRARY Go grab the book. Chest: Herb and Chest: 30 Guilder The Herb is probably worth it. We will need SOME money later to speed things up, so go ahead and grab this. You probably have next to nothing right now. Try and leave, Melzas trash-talks you some more. Leave. LANDING Back the way you came. The bottom Murgg is a bit harder to avoid this time, but the others you can run past. LOBBY Runnnnnn! -- Outside -- MANOR You can see 4 chests to your left, can't you? Well, fuck 'em. They're for later. We have FIVE to get on the way back though. Head East and then South. When you get to a wall you can't do anything reasonable about, run West. You'll see a set of steps, keep going past them. There's some white blocks up some stairs; ignore the blocks. Here comes a tricky jump: Jump off the corner block next to the steps and land on the small shrubs on the platform next to them; might require a few goes, but it's worth it. Chest: Herb Chest: Herb Chest: Herb A must get. Go South off the screen. FENCES Chest: Life Vessel May as well! Fall off to the right. Chest: Herb Yeah, why not. If you got all the optional ones by now, you've found NINE. Get around the fences so that you can exit West. HOUSE Run run run West, go up the stairs to get back to Inoa. -- Inoa -- 0:20 (I did it :14, but that was with lots of retries) (Note... if you SUCK you could save here, but I don't think it's worth it after only twenty minutes of play. Besides, the next save point in a dungeon is VERY in your way and will probably be worth taking to regain health also.) INOA Run up the stairs directly North of you, and keep going til' you get to Wendel's. WENDEL Cutscene. Select Yes, obviously. -- Wendell's Nightmare -- ? Ok, run North. At least he didn't call you the Releaser. Smack the switch. Path, switch. Go East. Switch. Possibly open the chest below you. Chest: Herb Grab it if you don't have 9. Go West and follow the path. Lots of long surfaces here to run on. Switch to your left. Keep on runnin'. Switch on your right. Move it! That bridge hides a crossing, walk over it. Ignore the switch, we don't need no crappy Gilded Falcon. Cross over another one of those hidden crossings and go up into a grassy area. Gate, yadda, slimes, kill 'em. Make sure you're on full health off diamonds before the boss coming up. Not like it's a hard one though. Go to the bridges on your right; use the crossings to execute the order: Top, Bottom, Top, Bottom, Bottom. Now fight a boss. Boss Battle: Gelatinoid Not difficult. At first it's big. Just hit it every time you can, it has a short invincibility period. Then it splits into four. Try to always be hitting one of the four; after each of the smaller blobs takes enough, it splits into the regular sized ones which go down in 5 hits. Get slappin'. -- Inoa -- WENDELL Cutscene. Stock up on health crystals using the grass if you're really low, but you have a Save in 10 minutes. The next dungeon is not dangerous, but there are forced fighting rooms. MINE Run South, Run West, Run North up lots of steps. Equip the Bomb and blow up the mine entrance. Time for some MINE CART PUZZLES! -- Coal Mine -- MINE 1 Blow up the rocks, go North. MINE 2 Go West, run past some annoying turtle things and Bomb the white stone. Go down. LYNAN Walk up that small tunnel you see. Cutscene. You have to kill the Murgg, unfortunately. Grab the key from Lynan. Chest: Herb Chest: 30G Chest: Herb Chest: 30G As before, grab the money and the Herbs if you need them. Don't worry about using a Herb to make room, the Save awaits. Bugger off back upstairs. MINE 2 Ignore the turtles and head back to the mine entrance. MINE 1 Go to the side room. MINE ENGINE 1 Unlock door, turn on engine. Go back. MINE 1 Hop in the cart. Wheeeee- MINE 3 -eeee! OK, go for the door slightly on your left. MINE ENGINE 2 Run straight ahead, watch some rocks. Run back out. MINE 3 Annnnnnd door number 2. MINE 4 Immediately get a Bomb ready, use it on the rocks. Get going. MINE 5 Meh. Run North through the dangerous bit, it doesn't matter if you get hit some. Jump up the small platforms and make your way across to the left. Exit. MINE ENGINE 2 Rake dat snake. I mean, switch. Leave. MINE 5 Jump on the poles for a non-dangerous way back. MINE 4 LEAVE! MINE 3 Go West and hit the switch, before hopping in the cart. Wheeeee- MINE 6 -eeee! Be slightly annoyed by this meaningless bit of architecture. Hop down and hit the switch. Hop back up and exit East. JAYLEN You an get the key without killing the Murgg, but you can't exit. So, kill the Murgg, examine Jaylen's corpse, and leave. MINE 6 Hop in the cart again. MINE 3 Yeah yeah. Go smack the switch again and ride the cart. All the way back to... MINE 1 Here. You don't wanna be here! Go North. MINE 2 Smack that switch you opened earlier. Go back to the entrance. MINE 1 Cart. Again. MINE 7 Yay, more puzzles. But more importantly... THE SAVE POINT! Open the gate with Jaylen's key. GO SAVE! (And restore health) Notes: You should have near 9 Herbs, possibly a Strength Elixir, and at least 90G. There is 120G sitting around in chests overworld after the caves, putting you at 210G. The armour at Lurvy's only costs 120G, and there are 4 more chests of Guilder on the Cliffs of Madness. For the future I suggest always having a Magic Elixyr in your inventory after collecting the second Magic Seed, for efficient takedown of bosses. -- Segment 2 - Mines to Bonaire AROUND 35 MINUTES LONG SEGMENT 2 ============================ -- Coal Mine -- 0:45 (emulated :33) MINE 7 Ok, run down a bit til' you get to the water area. Jump up next to the platform with the switch on it, and smack it. Get out of the water again, jump up to the right where there's a cart. This jump is a little annoying, but you've just loaded so try it until it works. Push the cart left and immediately jump on it. Now jump onto the small square platforms to your left near the water area. Ok. Jump along those and to the brick you dropped earlier, and exit West. MINE 8 Get out a bomb, move to the West and blow up the white stone. Go down. MINE 9 Jump right along the poles, get the Key from the chest. Return the same way. MINE 8 Exit East. MINE 7 Jump generally East to get to a gate which your key unlocks. Smack the switch. Go back to the cart you passed. Hop in! MINE 10 Narrowly dodge many rocks. Yawn. MINE 11 Head to the East where you'll see some crates. Grab one and head up the platform. Go South and jump at the very tip to reach the rocks. Head West, run up the tracks North. Exit West. MINE 12 Go West and run South until you can jump onto the decking to the West. Do so. Chest: Herb Yeah yeah, get it if you need it. Jump to the East onto the thin bit. Fall into the mine cart. MINE 11 Wheeee! Jump East and exit. MINE 13 Follow the path. MINE ENGINE 3 Run South. Smack the bottom switch three times, then the top once. Walk up the stairs and jump on the steam engine; don't jump too quick. Fall onto the lift. MINE 14 Scary. MINE 15 Run South along the bridge. You shouldn't need the health restore. ZAZAN Go south and listen to big monkey yak on. Kill some Murgg. For some reason you get boss music. Jump up the steps. Chest: Life Vessel Well you may as WELL pick it up, but you don't have to. :) Exit South. -- Outside -- MURGG WOODS 1 Exit West. MURGG WOODS 2 Cutscene. Exit North. MURGG TREE Annoying cutscene. South! -- Inoa -- INOA You can't quite get back inside Jess's house yet. Bugger. Go East, then East some more, then North up some steps to get to Sybill's. She has some lovely plants to cut down. :) SYBILL Talk to her. Can't say No. Cutscene. Leave. INOA Defoliate Sybill's garden again. Talk to Sierra to get her to bugger off. Go inside. JESS Cutscene. Leave. (Possible save point. Probably not worth it, this segment is tiny so far.) INOA Go North out of the village. -- Outside -- 1:00 (emulated :42) LAKE Run into the graveyard, put the flowers down. Follow the voice; go East and into the crypt. -- Lars's Crypt -- CRYPT 1 Jump down some ladders until you get to the lower area with 5 plaques. Say the plaques are arranged like this: GBWRN Look at them in the order WBRGN. Now go back up one ladder and into the room to the East. CRYPT 2 Look at the plaque. Twice. Say Yes. Leave. CRYPT 1 Go back down the ladder and wait for AGES as each Saint appears and opens the door. Exit. CRYPT 3 Run South, read both plaques. Spooky. Kill the stuff. I suggest chucking the nearby pots at stuff to make it quicker. Climb back up a ladder and touch the sparkles. Run South along the bridge. Chest: Herb Chest: Herb Again, if you need them. Not worth using Herbs; there is a restore point soon. Leave. CRYPT 4 Run East, then drop down the hole. CRYPT 5 Might want to cut some grass here. Smack the right switch once. Jump onto the lift. CRYPT 4 Chat with the statue. Health restore. Hurry it up, those new platforms are temporary. Fall East and jump across to the South a little. Jump on that plate. Yay! Exploding things! Now go West and jump to the North. Follow the path around. Run to the room that just opened up. Smack the orbs in the order East, West, North, South. Go back out this pretty room and go East. CRYPT 6 Run East. Kill some stuff, cut some grass. Perhaps use the pots to finish off the monsters at the top quicker. Go down the stairs. CRYPT 7 Run South and follow the path. Walk by the holes that just got made and go East as soon as you can. Jump into both little holes, grab the chest. Chest: Key Necessary. Go back up past the holes and open that door. CRYPT 8 Hit the switches on the left and right. Exit West. CRYPT 9 Yay, moving platforms... push those bricks left. Stand on the platform. On the right is best, so the spiky ball doesn't hit you. Now, you have to do this bit quickly; jump off the platform onto the bit with the barrel and grab it. Then, jump back onto the moving platform and hop again up to the larger floor. If you're too slow you'll just have to wait to go round again, which is annoying. Throw the barrel near the higher bit so you can jump up and look at the statue. Walk round to the East and exit South. CRYPT 8 Leave South. CRYPT 7 Run down the left side and onto the conveyor belt. Another quick bit. Wait until the platform is near the opening on the right. Jump to it and read the sign. Now quickly get back to the platform before it leaves. Exit East. CRYPT 10 Smack all the orbs; I find South, North, Middle works best. Exit East. CRYPT 11 Kill the three slimes. Might want to bomb one if you have it ready. Exit West. CRYPT 10 Do the orbs thing again, exit West. CRYPT 11 Kill the stuff again, use a pot on one, yadda. Exit East. TOMB Run to the East. Boss time! Boss Battle: Guardian I suggest just smacking him at every opportunity. Using bombs seems to take longer, because he moves around a bit. Also you will probably want Herbs equipped, though he's not ususally that hard to dodge. Stand by the right as he's defeated, so you can go through the opening. Chat to Lars. Chest: Magic Seed Chest: Earth Scroll Chest: Life Vessel Woot. Grab 'em. More chatting to Lars. Chest: Ruby Crest Get it. Chat chat chat. Step on the pad. CRYPT 1 Exit North. -- Outside -- LAKE Bugger off back to Inoa. -- Inoa -- 1:15 (emulated :52) (Don't save yet, there's a Save point in Bonaire's Nightmare.) INOA Time to have a chat with Nadia. Cutscene. Try talking to Bonaire again to get sucked into his mind! -- Bonaire's Nightmare -- UPPER Cutscene. Run up the stairs on your left, smack the orb. Now run back down. Hop off to the right and go SAVE! Notes: You're aiming for the quick kill on Sara by bombing her. Doing the dungeon before having the boss battle is largely unavoidable, thanks to the stupid placement of this Save point. You -could- get both keys then save, but it would waste time overall. -- Segment 3 - Bonaire to Shrine SEGMENT 3 ============================= -- Bonaire's Nightmare -- 1:20 (emulated :55) UPPER First, push the rock to your right and go up the ladder which appears. Step on the teleport pad. LOWER 1 Walk round, run through the spiky ball, it really doesn't matter right now. Go up and step on this pad too. UPPER Run to the East and smack the orb. Go back across the bridge and fall off the middle of the ledge onto the one below. Jump to the right to grab... Chest: Key Necessary. Now fall down to the teleport pad. LOWER 1 Run round the path. Resist the urge to smack the orb. Keep following the path. Now you have to kill some slimes. I suggest having a bomb ready for one of them. After they die... Chest: Key Again, necessary. Go back round, smack the orb and go onto the pad. UPPER Nudge the third rock on the left to make a ladder appear. Go up it. Invoke your spiky ball dodging skills and make your way to the door at the top, which you will now unlock. LOWER 2 Cutscene. Hit the switch and leave. UPPER Get a bomb out. Jump to the right onto a platform which was blocked before. Chuck the bomb at that switch and stand in the little alcove. Watch as you are magically teleported elsewhere. LOWER 3 Go round to the door and unlock it. Run up the stairs. Smack the lit orb and go back down the stairs a bit. Jump onto the block which appeared and grab... Chest: Key Last one. And go back North. Hit the now flashing orb, and open the locked door. Chest: Life Vessel Yay. :) Hit the pad. LOWER 2 Ignore the chest, it's a falcon. Leave. UPPER Cutscene. You can just run through all the enemies, ignore 'em and carry on. SARA Have a chat with the DEVOURER OF SOULS!!!!!!1 Boss Battle: Sara This battle is sort of annoying, but if you hit her with a bomb once, she dies! Here's a good way how. When she first transforms, you CAN hit her, but don't. You should get the 'three shots at once' attack. If you do, take out a bomb just before the three shots cross each other. Otherwise, prime a bomb after the third shot has travelled a bit. Chuck the bomb when it starts sparking; if you're lucky she will reappear and immediately die! If she does the clones attack, just hope you hit her with it. If you don't... either reset and do the dungeon again or try to do it on the next cycle. Don't accept it failing twice, reset. Chat with Bonaire. -- Inoa -- 1:26 (emulated 1:00) BONAIRE Cutscene. Fuck! JESS You could save here. But don't. :) Go downstairs. Get the incredible edible Flail. Cool. Leave. INOA Now, we can go to the Desert, but you want a second Magic Seed first. Really, you do. Well, I reckon so anyway. It will speed things up from now on. Head lots of South and exit. -- Outside -- HOUSE Run South a bit and take a quick West. DUNNO Shortly after passing the first bit of grass, take out a bomb. Progress down the path and chuck it at the upper tree stump. Equip your new Flail to smack the white blocks, and exit North next to the water. SOMEWHERE Chest: Magic Seed Yoink! Now we're ready to do the Desert. Jump off to the right and follow the path until you see some stairs South. Take them. DUNNO Head back to the East exit. HOUSE Run a long way to the East and exit. FENCES Go East a little bit, then North as soon as you can. MANOR Those 4 chests you saw ages ago are possible to get now. / OPTIONAL Walk up the ladder immediately to your left and slay the blocks. | Follow the path ignoring the ogres, until you get to a few ledges. | Jump onto the small stones then up on the ledges, and fall right to the chests. | Chest: 30G Chest: 30G Chest: 30G Chest: 30G | Teh cash. May or may not need this. \ Now fall off and get running to the East, then South, to get near the desert. Run East across the bridge and Exit. DESERT Smack the white block, hit some grass if you need health, then exit South. CLIFFS Fall down a lot. / OPTIONAL Run across the base of the cliffs and go into Lurvy's. | LURVY Buy the Leather Armour and a Magic Elixyr. That's 144G. | Leave back to the cliffs. \ CLIFFS Go back to the point where you can start climbing. Get climbing. You can go out of your way by going up two ladders in order to get a Magic Elixyr if you didn't buy one at Lurvy's. Proceed generally East. There is a chest here... Chest: Herb If you need it. After a while you'll find a few more chests. Chest: 30G Chest: 30G Chest: 30G More money. Not sure if you need this yet. When you eventually reach the top, exit. -- Desert -- SMALL CAVE Run up lots of stairs. Exit. DESERT 1 Proceed to the West, going round lots of annoying walls. Follow the path until eventually you see some solid ground to jump from. Get up onto the raised platform. Follow this small path and jump off some more solid ground. Go to the West and do some jumping games. Enter the Cave to the North. SAND CAPE CAVE Walk left a bit before going South and grabbing... Chest: Sand Cape Hoo boy. Now we can actually do this area. Equip the cape, then use it to exit again. DESERT 1 Go back to the raised platform at the Southern-most part of the map. Walk up the steps and get TORNADOWNED! DESERT 2 Cape through the three gaps and exit North. DESERT 3 Grab one rock, jump up onto the platform to your left. Do a short throw to place the rock inbetween the platform you're on and the one further West. Do some hopping and exit in that direction. DESERT 4 Walk a little up the steps and onto the small platform to the left. Do a long jump onto the stepping stone and jump again to the raised platform to the south, and exit. DESERT 5 Walk up the steps and hit the twinklies. -- Ancient Shrine -- EXTERIOR Run inside. SHRINE 1 Head East, then equip the Earth Scroll and step on the switch. Walk back off to the left and use the Scroll to destroy all the worms at once. Go to the entrance and head up the stairs. Enter the door on the right. SHRINE 2 Put the icons on the correct plates. Exit West. SHRINE 3 Walk around the open eyes and exit North. SHRINE 4 Put the Star icon on the plate, then grab the hidden Sun icon on the right. Use it as a step to get the Water icon. Chuck it onto the plate. Grab the Sun icon again and use it as a step to the Moon icon. Now place those two correctly. Jump up an icon onto the middle platform and talk to the statue. Exit. SHRINE 5 If you're feeling nifty, we can take a small shortcut here. Follow the closed eyes on the right and grab the barrel. Chuck it in the middle of the two open eyes and jump across it to exit South. If you aren't nifty, take it round to the left and use it for a short jump. EXTERIOR Follow the path. Ignore the zombies and take the first door you see. SHRINE 6 Equip the cape and swim under the gap. Go up the stairs. SHRINE 7 Go round the path and cape under the gap. If you're quick and clever, you can avoid hitting any of the worms and quickly throw the rock west into the compartment. If not, switch to Earth magic and splatter them all before continuing. Swim under the gap and jump up the rock to exit North. SHRINE 8 Hit the worm on the left. If you still have Magic, head to the solid area and use the Earth Scroll to destroy three of the worms. Then go back and hit the other one. Otherwise, get slappin'. There's two ways of doing this. 1. Jump down, hit the switch, move the barrel so you can jump to the door, and exit. 2. Throw a bomb at the switch, move the barrel into position, and exit through the door as the bomb explodes. SHRINE 9 Uh, yeah. Exit South. EXTERIOR Fall down and go talk to the statue. Ignore the chest. Follow the path back round to the door you went into, but go into the second this time. SHRINE 10 Ignore the zombies and exit North. SHRINE 11 Walk round the right-hand side of the sand and exit South. EXTERIOR Run South and exit North. SHRINE 10 Go East a bit (run through Zombies if you have to, they take a lot of hits) and exit South. EXTERIOR Head East. Jump down the ladder and head more East. Eventually go into a door. SHRINE 12 This room SUCKS. Go past all the spiky balls and start pushing the pillar East. Get it close to the wall, but not so far that you can't push it away again. Equip Herb and start pushing it South. Whenever you get below 4 health, use one. Eventually you'll manage to get it onto the right pressure plate. Go stand on the left one and exit North. SHRINE 13 Kill all the bees. I suggest going for the one in front of you, then the one to the right, then the one at the topleft. Grab the barrel. Jump around on the pillars until you can chuck the barrel onto the switch, and do so. Exit by jumping onto the lift. SHRINE 14 Now you need luck. Hit the switch in the middle, then stand under one of the divots and HOPE. Standing under the left one twice seems to work. You need two barrels. Chuck them inbetween the solid area and the lift. Exit. SHRINE 15 Get moving! Chuck each icon onto the correct plate. Chest: Key Yeah you need this. Exit up the stairs. SHRINE 16 Open the door. Exit. EXTERIOR This time fall off East and go get statue-d. Go down the steps and make your way back into the building by going West. SHRINE 10 Run through some more zombies, and exit South. EXTERIOR Fall off, and re-enter the Shrine. SHRINE 1 Now would be a good time to SAVE and RESTORE. Segment 4 - Shrine to Inoa SEGMENT 4 ========================== -- Ancient Shrine -- 1:45 (emulated 1:13) SHRINE 1 Go slightly left and up the long sandy corridor. Smack three switches while not getting spiked, and go back to the East and up the steps. SHRINE 17 This one is a bit annoying. Grab Sun and Moon and chuck them to the right. DON'T place the Star icon correctly. If you do, reset and retry this segment. :) Make some little steps on the right hand side so that you can grab both icons. Now you can place them all. When you do, jump back up onto the left-hand side and make your way to the final statue. Have a chat, and leave. SHRINE 1 Go back to the entrance and go chat to the skeleton. Drop down. SHRINE 18 Bomb puzzle? Don't make me laugh. Jump onto the spikes and hit all the switches. Then jump to the right and Exit. SHRINE 19 Equip Earth Scroll and step on the switch. Annihilate all the worms. Exit South. SHRINE 20 One of the 'quick rooms'. Try to ignore the zombies. Time the icon placements, and leave West when you get them all. SHRINE 21 You need to kill all the zombies here. I suggest using bombs, especially for the one on the raised platform to the left. Now hop to the middle. Stack the icons like this: Water-Sun-Moon-Star, Water on the bottom. Now exit North. SHRINE 22 Boss?! Not yet. Drop down. SHRINE 23 Another quick room. SWEN = Star/Moon/Water/Sun. Exit, quickly. SHRINE 22 Cross the room and drop again. SHRINE 24 Last quick room. NEWS = Star/Moon/Water/Sun. Exit again. SHRINE 22 NOW it's boss time. Boss Battle: Shrine Protector Get the Earth Scroll out. Smack the bastard with it when you can, then use a Magic Elixyr and smack him once more. Now hit him with the Chain until he dies. Shouldn't take long. SHRINE 23 More random fun. You need to grab two barrels, put them on the two switches at the left, then run across the right two and exit East. SHRINE 24 Lots of path fun. Don't fall down every hole. Do it logically. SHRINE 25 Go talk to the congregation leader. Earth Scroll ALL of the fuckers at once. More victory posing! Go talk to the skeleton.
